From Greensboro Airport and points east:
Follow signs out of airport to I-40 West; it is about 2.5 to 3 miles to I-40 but clearly marked. Take I-40 West, starting with the I-40 By-pass as you leave Greensboro. I-40 West By-pass will loop around Winston-Salem, merge with I-40, and then I-40 West will split from US 421 North. Bear right and take US 421 North toward Wilkesboro. Exit US 421 North at the Lewisville-Clemmons Road exit. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Styers Ferry Road. Continue on Styers Ferry Road for approximately 1.5 miles until the road ends and you reach the Stoplight. Turn left onto Shallowford Road. From Statesville and points west
Follow I-40 East to the Clemmons exit (same exit as Cracker Barrel). At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Lewisville-Clemmons Road. Continue on this road for approximately 4 miles. The road becomes Styers Ferry Road once you cross over US 421; do not turn. Continue on Styers Ferry Road for approximately 1.5 miles until the road ends and you reach the Stoplight. Turn left onto Shallowford Road. From Wilkesboro and points north:
Follow US 421 South to the second Lewisville exit; there will be an Exxon station on the left side of the overpass. At the Stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, turn left; you will come immediately to another Stop sign. Turn left again and cross back over US 421. Stay on this road, which becomes Shallowford Road, for approximately 3 miles, past a few churches and the hardware store. FCDS will be on your left. From Charlotte and points south:
Follow I-77 North to I-40 East (at Statesville). Follow I-40 to the Clemmons exit (same exit as Cracker Barrel). At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, turn left. You will be on Lewisville-Clemmons Road. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles. Once you cross over US 421, the road becomes Styers Ferry Road; do not turn.
